ABSTRACT:
7[D-(-)-.alpha.-amino-.alpha.-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-acetamido]-cephalosporanic acid and 7-D-(-)-2,2-dimethyl-4-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-5-oxo-1-imidazolidinyl]cephalospo ranic acid and the corresponding decephalosporanic acids and the salts thereof are new synthetic compounds of value as antibacterial agents and in the treatment of bacterial infections.
