The invention relates to 7-amino-1-cyclopropyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-4-oxo-quinoline-3-carboxyli c acids, processes for their preparation and compositions containing them as antibacterial agents. Also included in the invention are methods for treating bacterial infection using the compounds and compositions of the invention.
