ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein n=1 or 2; R.sub.1 is lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, halo, ester, carbamate, or substituted amino; and R.sub.2 is thienyl or furyl; or R.sub.2 is ##STR2## wherein R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently selected from hydrogen, halo, hydroxy, methoxy, thioalkoxy, substituted amino and lower alkyl; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
These compounds are useful as inhibitors of alpha-2-adrenergic receptors and for the treatment of glaucoma and/or controlling intraocular pressure.
