ABSTRACT:
A triazine of the formula I ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently of one another are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 -aryl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.18 -aralkyl or a radical of the formula II or III ##STR2## in which R.sub.3 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl and R.sub.4 is hydrogen, oxyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -alkinyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.21 -alkoxyalkyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.8 -aralkyl, 2,3-epoxypropyl, an aliphatic acyl group with 1-9 C atoms or one of the groups --CH.sub.2 COOR.sub.5, --CH.sub.2 --CH(R.sub.6)--OR.sub.7, --COOR.sub.8 or --CONHR.sub.8, in which R.sub.5 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 -alkenyl, phenyl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.8 -aralkyl or cyclohexyl and R.sub.6 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl and R.sub.7 denotes hydrogen, an aliphatic or aromatic, araliphatic or alicyclic acyl group with 1-18 C atoms, in which the aromatic part can optionally be substituted by chlorine, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy and/or by hydroxyl, and R.sub.8 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl and A is a radical of the formula IV or V ##STR3## in which R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 have the above meaning, n is 1, 2 or 3 and R.sub.9 is hydrogen or hydroxyl and Y is --O-- or --NR.sub.10 --, in which R.sub.10 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.18 -aralkyl or a radical of the formula II with the above meaning, or A is --P(=O)(OR.sub.1)OR.sub.2, --S--R.sub.11, --NR.sub.12 R.sub.13 or --OR.sub.14, in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 have the above meaning, R.sub.11 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl or the group --(C.sub.p H.sub.2p)--CO--OR.sub.15, in which R.sub.15 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, and p denotes 1 to 6 and R.sub.12 and R.sub.13 independently of one another are hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.4 -alkenyl, C.sub.5 -C.sub.7 -cycloalkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl, C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl or a radical of the formula II with the above meaning, and R.sub.14 denotes C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl, C.sub.6 -C.sub.10 -aryl or C.sub.7 -C.sub.9 -aralkyl, and B is a radical of the formula IV or V with the above meaning or is --P(=O)(OR.sub.1)OR.sub.2, in which R.sub.1 is a radical of the formula II or III with the above meaning and R.sub.2 has the above meaning, and its salts, as additives for stabilizing organic material.
