ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the structure ##STR1## where X is Cl or Br, R is a branched chain alkyl or alkenylradical containing about 8 to 20 carbon atoms and R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogen or alkyl groups of 1 to 4 carbon atoms. The new compounds find use in extraction of metals.
