ABSTRACT:
5-Deoxy-3-O-arylmethyl or substituted arylmethyl-1,2-O-alkylidene-a-D-xylofuranose and 5-C-alkyl and alkenyl derivatives thereof. The compounds are useful as herbicides and plant growth regulators.
