Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is H, C.sub.1-5 or 7 -straight or branched chain alkyl or allyl and R.sub.1 is H or Cl and
the pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof are pharmacologically active as anticonvulsant and anxiolytic agents.
