The invention provides 5,8-dihydro-6H-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7-one compounds that are selective inhibitors of KDR and FGFR kinases, and are useful in the treatment of cancers. The compounds have the generic structure Iwhere Ar, Ar′, and R1are as set forth in the present specification. The invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds and methods for their use.
