ABSTRACT:
A novel compound, 5-(2,5-dioxotetrahydrofuryl)-3-methyl-3-cyclohexene-1,2-dicarboxylic anhydride, of the following formula is provided. ##STR1## This novel tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride is useful as a curing agent for epoxy resins.
