ABSTRACT:
Derivatives of 5-[2-[(2,3-dihydro-1,4-benzodioxan-2-ylmethyl)amino]-1-hydroxyethyl]-2-hyd roxybenzoic acid are prepared which are useful for their blocking action on .alpha. and .beta.-adrenergic receptors. In addition, these compounds are useful as antihypertensive agents.
