ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a novel series of compounds characterized particularly by the azatricyclo[4.3.1.1.sup.3,8 ]undecane ring. These include 4-azatricyclo[4.3.1.1.sup.3,8 ]undecan-5-one, 4-azatricyclo[4.3.1.1.sup.3,8 ]undecane and nitrogen substituted derivatives of each of these and their salts. The compounds are useful as antiviral, cardiovascular or antiinflammatory agents, or as intermediates for such substances.
