ABSTRACT:
3-Substituted-4-aryl isoquinolines, e.g. 3-tertiary butyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline, prepared from corresponding isoquinoline intermediates, are useful as anti-diabetic agents.
