ABSTRACT:
A 3-phenoxy-fluorobenzyl alcohol of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.2 is hydrogen, cyano or ethynyl.
The compounds can be esterified with pyrethroid-type carboxylic acids to give highly active insecticides.
