ABSTRACT:
Novel 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl derivatives of naphthalene or methylnaphthalene of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 respectively represent hydrogen atom or methyl group, with the proviso that R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 do not simultaneously represent methyl group; m and n respectively represent zero or 1, with the proviso that the sum of m and n is 1, and a process for preparing the derivatives are disclosed. The derivatives are suitable as a dielectric material.
