ABSTRACT:
A new corrosion inhibitor for acid-pickled ferrous and nonferrous metals in the form of isoperthiocyanic and its .alpha.-hydroxy-substituted derivatives of the formula ##STR1## The metals are pickled in aqueous solutions of acid mixed with 0.1-1 wt.-% of said inhibitor.
