ABSTRACT:
2-Trifluoromethylphenyl (di)thiophosphates of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is alkyl of 1 to 5 carbon atoms, alkoxyalkyl or alkylthioalkyl of 2 to 8 carbon atoms or cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently of one another are each hydrogen, cyano, halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, each of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, which may be substituted by halogen or cyano, and X is oxygen or sulfur, are used for pest control.
