2-Sulfamoyl-5-sulfamido-1-naphthols represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 can be the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain alkyl group, a branched alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group; or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 can be connected with each other, together with the nitrogen atom, to form a ##STR2##
