ABSTRACT:
Certain perimidines are observed to be useful antiulcer agents in view of their activity as inhibitors of gastric acid secretion and ulcer formation. Among such antiulcer agents are novel 2-(R'-oxymethyl)-perimidine derivatives, wherein R.sup.1 is a member selected from the group consisting of benzoyl, carbamyl, N-loweralkylcarbamyl, and N,N-diloweralkylcarbamyl.
