ABSTRACT:
This invention provides 2-(N-substituted piperidino)-5-alkyl resorcinols of the structure ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is H, loweralkyl, loweralkynyl or aralkyl; R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are each H or when taken together R.sub.2 R.sub.3 =CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 ; R.sub.4 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl and R.sub.5 is H or loweralkyl, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.
These compounds are useful as antisecretory agents.
