ABSTRACT:
Novel phospholipids, inclusive of pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon residue of 15 to 20 carbon atoms, R.sup.2 is an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R.sup.3 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, exhibit inhibitory activity to multiplication of tumor cells and are useful for inhibiting multiplication of tumor cells and prolonging the survival time of tumor-bearing warm-blooded animal.
