ABSTRACT:
A perfumery composition consisting essentially of from 1% to 50% by weight of a 4-isopropyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are individually members selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl having from 1 to 3 carbon atoms and cyclopropyl, and the remainder customary constituents of perfumery compositions; as well as novel 4-isopropyl-5,5-dimethyl-1,3-dioxanes of the above formula wherein both R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are not simultaneously hydrogen.
