ABSTRACT:
2-Amino-4-cyclopropyl-1,3,5-triazines and processes for their production are disclosed. The 2-amino-4-cyclopropyl-1,3,5-triazines are intermediate in the production of herbicidally active N-(cyclopropyltriazinyl)-N'-arylsulfonyl ureas and correspond to the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, and R.sub.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 -haloalkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 -alkoxyalkyl.
