ABSTRACT:
2,6-Di-tert-Butyl-4-substituted thiopyrylium salt represented by formula (I), a process for production of said salt and a photoconductive composition containing said salt. ##STR1## wherein Z.sup..crclbar. is an anion, X is a hydrogen atom, an aryl group, a substituted aryl group or an alkyl group, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are the same or different and include alkyl groups.
