ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is the title compound having the structural formula: ##STR1## This compound in which M is hydrogen, an alkali metal or ammonium, has utility as a chelating agent which exhibits stability constants with various metal ions which are intermediate between those of EDTA and citric acid.
