ABSTRACT:
2,5-di-(4'-isocyanatobutyl)-3,6-dimethylpyrazine which corresponds to the formula ##STR1## is produced by phosgenating 2,5-di-(4'-aminobutyl)-3,6-dimethylpyrazine. The 2,5-di-(4'-isocyanatobutyl)-3,6-dimethylpyrazine is particularly useful as an isocyanate component for the production of polyurethanes.
