ABSTRACT:
2:2 mixed orthocarbonates of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.noteq.R' and wherein R and R' are --C(NO.sub.2).sub.3, --CF(NOb.2).sub.2, --CF.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), --C(NO.sub.2).sub.2 CH.sub.3, --CH(NO.sub.2)CH.sub.3, --CH(NO.sub.2)CH.sub.3, --CH.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), --CF.sub.3, or --CF.sub.2 CF.sub.3, and methods of preparation.
Additionally, orthoformates of the formula ##STR2## wherein R is --C(NO.sub.2).sub.2 CH.sub.3, --CF.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), --CH(NO.sub.2)CH.sub.3, and --CH.sub.2 (NO.sub.2), and methods of preparation.
