ABSTRACT:
Thiophene derivatives of the following formula are effective as acaricides: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.A is selected from -hydrogen, -halogen, -lower alkyl, hydroxy, -lower alkoxy, -lower alkylthio, -lower alkoxyalkoxy, -lower alkoxycarbonyl, -aryloxycarbonyl, -lower alkoxycarbonyloxy, -lower alkylsulfonyl, -lower alkylsulfonyloxy, -arylsulfonyloxy, and -lower alkyl phosphonyloxy;
