ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 each represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a (C.sub.1-4)alkoxy radical, a (C.sub.1-4)alkylthio radical, a halogeno(C.sub.1-4)alkyl radical, a (C.sub.1-4)alkyl radical or a cycloalkyl-alkoxy-alkoxy radical or two of the adjacent R symbols together form a methylenedioxy or ethylenedioxy radical, R.sub.6 represents a hydrogen atom, a (C.sub.1-4)alkyl radical, a (C.sub.3-6)cycloalkyl radical or a (C.sub.3-6)cycloalkyl-(C.sub.1-4)alkyl radical, and R.sub.7, R.sub.8 and R.sub.9 each represent a hydrogen atom or a methoxy radical, are new compounds possessing pharmacological properties; they are useful as calcium antagonists and as antihypertensives.
