ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a compound, 1-methyl-9.beta.-D-ribofuranosyl-isoguanine, and to a process for the preparation thereof by isolation from natural sources. The compound has muscle relaxing, central nervous system, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergy and hypotensive activity.
