1-Halo-1-azolylpropenes and -methyloxiranes of the formula I ##STR1## where R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are alkyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, tetrahydropyranyl, norbornyl, pyridyl, naphthyl, biphenyl or phenyl, A is oxygen or a single bond, R.sup.3 is F, Cl or Br, X is CH or N, their plant-tolerated acid addition salts and metal complexes, and fungicides containing these compounds.
