ABSTRACT:
The invention provides new 2-phenoxymethylene-1,4-benzodioxan derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms or chlorine, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms and Y represents --O--, --CH.sub.2 --, --S-- or >C=O, a process for their manufacture, pesticidal compositions containing them and a method of combatting insects by using these compounds.
