A disperse dye of formula (I):Wherein R1and R2independently are each (C1-C4)-alkyl, OH or (C1-C4)-alkoxy-substituted (C1-C4)-alkyl; R3and R4independently are each hydrogen or methyl; one of A and B is cyano and the other is —COOX; and X is (C2-C12)-alkyl, O-interrupted (C2-C12)-alkyl, (C3-C4)-alkenyl or phenyl-(C1-C4)-alkyl. The invention also relates to the preparation of the dye and the use of the dye.
