ABSTRACT:
1-[2-(Alkyl and arylsulfonyl)-2-propenyl and propyl] substituted piperidines of the formula: ##STR1## where A is ##STR2## and R.sub.1 -R.sub.5 are various substituents, are useful as antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents.
