ABSTRACT:
A plasma display panel includes a pair of substrates and electrodes extending in row direction of display to generate a surface discharge across a pair of the electrodes. In the panel, at least one electrode of the electrode pair for generating the surface discharge is formed in the shape of a comb having a base portion extending in row direction of display and a tooth portion composed of a number of teeth extending from the base portion towards the other electrode.
