ABSTRACT:
A stabilizer system for C.sub.2 to C.sub.8 olefin polymers is provided which comprises at least one pentaerythritol phosphite compound and at least one alkaline earth metal oxide. In addition, stabilized polyolefins are disclosed which contain the above-described stabilizing system.
