ABSTRACT:
An electrophotographic photosensitive member has a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive support, characterized in that said photosensitive layer contains a disazo pigment of the formula (1), wherein A.sub.1 and A.sub.2, which may be either the same or different, each represent a coupler residue having a phenolic hydroxyl group.
