ABSTRACT:
1-Piperidinylmethyl benzenamines represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is S or --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same different members of the group consisting of hydrogen or lower alkyl; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are useful as anti-allergic and antihypertensive agents.
