ABSTRACT:
New acylanilides of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or halogen, R.sub.2 represents hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or halogen, R.sub.7 represents hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms, alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or halogen, R.sub.8 represents hydrogen or methyl, the total number of carbon atoms of the substituents R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 in the phenyl ring not exceeding 8, X represents ##STR2## wherein each of R', R" and R'" independently represents hydrogen, methyl, or ethyl, and Y represents one of the following groups: ##STR3## wherein Hal is a halogen anion, (b) --O--R.sub.4,
