ABSTRACT:
An electrostatic image-developing toner comprising at least a resin and a colorant, which contains at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the following formulas (I) and (II): ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1, R.sup.2, Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 is a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, and A is (B) (SO.sub.3.sup..crclbar.).sub.2 or MX.sub.6.sup.2.crclbar., wherein B is ##STR2## (wherein each of R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a hydroxyl group or an amino group), M is a titanium atom, a zirconium atom or a silicon atom, and X is a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom or a bromine atom.
