A first transmission system transmits a rotation of the motor to the illumination-angle varying mechanism in accordance with a switching of the clutch caused by a rotation of the motor in the first direction. A second transmission system transmits a rotation of said motor to a camera-operating mechanism other than a flash unit operating mechanism in accordance with a switching of the clutch caused by a rotation of the motor in the second direction.
