ABSTRACT:
A photographic element is disclosed that comprises a support having thereon spectrally-sensitized light-sensitive silver halide, a color dye-forming coupler, a DIR compound capable of inhibiting development of the silver halide, and, between the silver halide layer and the source of the image exposure, a layer comprising a non-diffusible filter dye that absorbs light in the region of the spectrum to which the silver halide is sensitized.
