ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic material is described, which comprises a support having provided thereon at least one hydrophilic layer containing at least one alkynyl-substituted heterocyclic quaternary ammonium salt represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Z represents non-metallic atoms necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic nucleus;
