ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the structure ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl with 1-3 carbon atoms, 2-fluoroethyl, phenyl or cyclopropyl, X is halogen, and X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 each independently is hydrogen or halogen. The compounds are useful as intermediates for quinoline antibacterial compounds.
