ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein each X is independently nitro or cyano and wherein each Y is independently H, lower alkyl (1-4C), lower alkoxy (-4C), or CF.sub.3 have been shown to be successful antagonists of NMDA receptors. Accordingly, these compounds are useful in the treatment of neuronal conditions associated with stimulation of the NMDA receptor.
