ABSTRACT:
Security lids for stack
est containers are frequently lost since they must be separated from such containers when the containers are in the nested condition. The present invention provides an open topped container 10 and a lid 26 with a transverse hinge 30. The lid includes means 36, 68, 70, 96, 102, for engagement on the container 24, 62, 80, 88, so that the lid cannot be removed without a combined pivoting of the lid parts about the hinge and sliding of the lid relative to the container. The folded lid can be stored in the container when another container is nested therein.
