ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a copying apparatus capable of executing a binding margin reduction copy mode to form a copy with binding margin by simultaneously reducing an image in which various drawbacks inherent in executing said copy mode are avoided to obtain copies without causing unwanted copies.
For example, when a cassette accommodating the designated size of paper is not present or is removed from the copying apparatus, the binding margin reduction copy mode is released to prevent the execution of the copy mode.
