ABSTRACT:
Methods of identifying compounds capable of affecting binding of a SNAP-25, .alpha.-SNAP, n-sec1 or VAMP to syntaxin are disclosed. Compounds identified by such methods are useful for modulating vesicular release, such as release at neural synapses.
