ABSTRACT:
A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which contains a novel color forming coupler so that the fastness of dye image formed therein is improved against heat and light. The color forming coupler is represented by the following Formula I or II; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and Y are independently a hydrogen atom or a substituent; Z is an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, X is a hydrogen atom or a substituent capable of split off upon reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.
