ABSTRACT:
The detector is mounted on a fishing line carrying a fish-hook. A stopper is fixed to the fishing line and is moved together with the line when pulled. A sensor is actuated by movement of the stopper, and an oscillator emits an output signal through operation of the sensor. The output signal is received by a receiver, thereby enabling detection of a bite a the fish.
