New insecticidal (.beta.-phenylvinyl)cyclopropanecarboxylates having on the phenyl ring one or more substituents such as halogen, cyano, nitro, lower alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, aryloxy, arylthio, lower haloalkyl, di(lower alkyl)amino, or methylenedioxy are described, and their preparation and insecticidal utility are exemplified.
